Everyone contributes. We have incorporated a donation model into Velferdsforbundet. We have done this to ensure that everyone is actively involved in contributing to the community according to their ability.

 

The joy of giving is a strategy for building belonging and cohesion in a community. It builds social glue and allows individuals and groups to experience greater connection to their community.

 

Accessibility for all. All members, organization and individual, have influence over their own contribution and can set donations according to ability, not obligation.

 

Responsibility for the community. We have a social responsibility for each other and ourselves. Donation is a great way to express this.

 

Trust in one's fellow citizens. Everyone who is part of Velferdsforbundet knows that everyone has contributed something.

 

A complement to commercial solutions. It is good to have more legs to stand on, and more economic models to rely on.

 

Socially sustainable model for the future. By also being able to build each other up economically, it builds upon the welfare state.
